Phillip Hatfield announces run for Heath City Council
Heath, Texas — Phillip Hatfield—author, leadership speaker, and business consultant; personally mentored and trained by Zig Ziglar; and a successful C-Level executive for over 25 years—is running a “one-legged race” for Heath City Council, Place 3, on May 5th in the 2018 election.
Phillip is disabled from a horrible accident in 2008, and today is a left leg amputee. Understanding obstacles, barriers, and changes in life and business makes Phillip uniquely qualified to serve, as he has experienced the positive power of change.
“Heath needs strong leaders who come to the table with ideas, not ideology,” Hatfield said. “I look forward to being an independent voice on the council, giving a genuine listening ear to all of Heath’s citizens. That includes our entire city: our youth, our seniors, our diverse population of citizens. It includes our communities, our neighborhoods, our businesses, and our future business developments and development partners. Heath needs council members who will engage in meaningful dialog with the community and then be the voice of the people. As scripture says, ‘Come, let us reason together.’”
